Drop your child into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) during this jam-packed week of excitement and exploration! Mad Scientist Academy combines camper imagination and thinking though hands-on activities to test their powers of engineering and open up the world of science. The week is a formula for excitement and fun as campers pursue the thrilling task of meeting the mad scientist inside us all!
Our dynamic curriculum is based on topics such as designing and testing weight-bearing structures, creating various vehicles to fulfill objectives, learning about the world’s natural properties, predicting movement based on math, and much more. Campers will enjoy this constantly changing camp that keeps them in eager anticipation of the next day and the new challenges to come.
This camp is designed to stimulate and motivate campers ages 8-12. This year we are offering two separate sessions (Level 1 is 3 days/Level 2 is 5 days) of our unique Mad Scientist Academy.
We will even pick your child up for camp! Parents: you can drop your child off at the designated Lincoln or Omaha location and we will bring your child to camp with us. We pick up daily at Omaha Westside High School and Lincoln East High School at 7:20 am and drop off in the same locations at 5:15 pm.

Let your child in on the secrets of how the world functions and the forces at work within it through hands-on experiments and projects centered on the most exciting facets of Engineering, Science, Technology, Math, Aviation and Space! For three days, Level 1 Scientists will get a good taste of the basic concepts and ideas surrounding what we know about our world today. They’ll explore what all curious minds want to know when looking at the world around them. They’ll discover how to ask questions and how to go about finding those answers in an engaging way. Level 1 Scientists will see their curious minds blossom through fun-filled experiments and hands-on activities designed to make science come alive! Transportation is provided daily from Omaha & Lincoln

Give your child the opportunity to explore the forces and components that make up our world through hands-on experiments and projects centered on the most exciting facets of Engineering, Science, Technology, Math, Aviation and Space! In this more in-depth look at the world, Level 2 Scientists will feed their curiosity for five days and will stretch their minds and hands to create, design, and test out ideas through our engineering challenges and will come home raving about mind-blowing scientific experiments! They will be able to let their imaginations take shape as they discover, alongside their friends, some of the most fascinating and powerful pillars of modern knowledge. They’ll be amazed at what they find! Transportation is provided daily from Omaha & Lincoln.
