Boy Scout Merit Badge Overnights

Activities - The Strategic Air & Space Museum will provide all of the instruction and guidance to complete the requirements for either Aviation, Space Exploration or Astronomy Merit Badges. The Scouts will rotate through a variety of educational workshops, an evening snack, and breakfast in the morning.

 

The Aviation Merit Badge activities include:

• A tour of the Museum
• Pilot interviews
• A ride on our flight simulator
• A visit to the Aircraft Restoration area
• and much, much more!

The Space Exploration Merit Badge activities include:

• Building rockets
• Designing a space station
• A tour of the Museum
• Constructing a rover
• and much, much more!

Overnight programs start at 7pm; Museum doors open at 6:30pm for check-in.

All activities conclude at 8am on Saturday morning.

What to Bring!

• Sleep Wear and change of clothes
• Personal hygiene items
• Money (optional for museum store)

Overnight Policy: The Museum requires a minimum of 75 to run the overnight program with a limit of  150 youth.  Call the Museum with group information and the date you  prefer.  The Museum reserves the right to cancel any overnight that doesn’t meet the minimum requirements. All of our programs are safe, supervised and highly educational.
