Join us for a field trip into one of the greatest minds in history, Leonardo da Vinci. Come and discover the awesome inventions that sprang forth from da Vinci’s thoughts including the first helicopter design, armored tank design, bicycle design and more! Many of these machines, which were recreated straight from the instruction book from da Vinci himself, are life-size and stay true to da Vinci’s prescribed methods and materials for building each one.
Students will be able to touch the machines with their own hands and set them in motion, combining a fascinating, hands-on experience with an exploration of the principles da Vinci utilized to create each design.
Your field trip will also include time in the da Vinci Classroom, the da Vinci Movie, and additional educational activities.
